Top 5 Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps in Bolivia Q1 2023

In the first quarter of 2023, Bolivia's carpooling and ridesharing market saw various trends among the top apps. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the leading apps, according to Sensor Tower data.

Yango: taxi, food, delivery showed significant fluctuations in weekly downloads. Starting at 39.3K in late December, its downloads peaked at 132.5K in the week of January 23, before gradually declining to 47.2K by the end of March. The app also recorded a modest weekly revenue of $1 in mid-March.

inDrive. Save on city rides had a steady increase in weekly downloads throughout the quarter. Starting at 20K in late December, it reached approximately 28.5K by the end of March. This consistent growth highlights its rising popularity in the Bolivian market.

Uber - Request a ride experienced relatively stable download numbers. Weekly downloads hovered around 2.5K to 3.7K, with a slight drop towards the end of March to 2K.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver showed a different trend, starting with 6K downloads in late December and dropping significantly to around 300 downloads weekly. Despite this decline, it maintained a consistent presence in the market.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides had the lowest download numbers among the top apps. Beginning with 900 downloads in late December, it saw a gradual decline, ending the quarter with around 365 weekly downloads.
